Dear Allan, Alex, Jane and all team members of MacKinnon and Bowes,
On behalf of myself, and the board of directors of the Ontario Funeral Service Association, we thank you and we join you with heavy hearts amidst the tragedy that unfolded in our beloved city of Toronto on April 23, 2018.
As you do, every day in your work, the MacKinnon and Bowes team responded with the utmost professionalism to the horrific scene on Yonge Street. In the media, many are rightfully praised for their heroic actions right down to recognizing those in the general public trying to deal with the emotional impact they have endured from this incident.
We take this opportunity as your colleagues and friends to praise you for your work and your competence as you represent the funeral profession in a quiet and unrecognized manner.
